Book Blog Hop

Another Book Blogger Hop from Crazy-for-Books:

Book Blogger Hop

Thanks to Lori for this week’s question!
(you can find the Book Blogger Hop question @ Crazy-for-Book's page here)

Many of us primarily read one genre of books, with others sprinkled in. If authors stopped writing that genre, what genre would you start reading? Or would you give up reading completely if you couldn't read that genre anymore?

This question doesn't really apply to me as I read many types of books. I probably concentrate mostly on YA and chick-lit, but I also love biographies and a some fantasy. I don't think I would quit reading at all, but if chick-lit no longer existed, I think I would turn to non-fiction by women (perhaps thinks by Chelsea Handler). I don't think I could ever stop reading, it's way too much a part of who I am.

  1. I see that you are reading The Hunger Game Series. Ya' know, I never did make the time to read them. I should though. They have been hanging out on my shelf for too long.

  2. I couldn't stop reading either. I'd have to branch out more, and I'd miss my favorite genre (historical fiction), but I'd have to fill the reading time with something else (the classics I keep telling myself I have to read, some real history, and all these great-sounding books I read about on other blogs.)
