Top Ten Books That Whose Titles Or Covers Made Me Buy It

These Books I have Read
1) The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - Ann Brashares
I went to the book store to kill time one day, and bought this book because I thought the cover was cool.
The Sisterhood of the Travelin...
2) Chain Letter - Christopher Pike
I thought this book cover looked cool. I read it when I was relatively young, and it scared the crap out of me.
Chain Letter
3) The Amulet of Samarkind (Book One of The Bartimaeus Trilogy) - Jonathan Stroud
I didn't buy this one, but did ask for it as a present because I thought the cover looked like a mix between Peter Pan and Harry Potter.
The Amulet of Samarkand (Bartimaeus, #1)
4) The Thing About Jane Spring - Sharon Krum
If you read my post about the price of books, then you know I'm a sales table surfer, so this one drew me in from that selection (if I had been browsing the whole store, I probably would have picked something else)

5) Chuck Duggan is AWOL - Eric Chase Anderson
This book just looks cool.

  1. Some lovely choices Jessica

    New follower :D

  2. Was going to put Beauty queens on mine but I didn't actually buy it yet. I really am interested in Bumped.

  3. Ha! Yes, Running With Scissors certainly gets my attention, too. I loved the book.

  4. I never saw the cover of the traveling pants, I would not have chosen it in the bookstores nope would not have purchased it. 'chain letter' cover is not appealing to me as the title so I might of purchased it for that reason and only after reading the summary.

  5. I like that cover for 'Running with Scissors', though it doesn't quite fit the title.

  6. I love the cover for Beauty Queens. Lipstick in the place of bullets = awesome!

    I’m a new follower :)

  7. i totally thought about buying BEAUTY QUEENS because of the cover. its beautiful...! great list! thanks so much for stopping by earlier... oh and about Tiger's Curse- personally i think it rocked! I exaggerate not when I say it's now one of my top 5 series :)

  8. I loved the covers for the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and Beauty Queens too. I'm so happy I ended up liking both :)
